Long Ng is the Head Chef of Taku. Having worked with Chef Takuya Watanabe for nearly 3 years now, he is positioned as his protégé and right hand man. He is of the highest professional standard and one of the leaders of the next generation of Japanese cuisine chefs.

Chef Long has dedicated the last 10 years of his life to learning and specialising theJapanese cuisine. He has trained as a fishmonger for 2 years and worked at a number of 2 Michelin and 3 Michelin star omakases in both London and Tokyo. At Taku, Chef Long is responsible for all the sourcing of fish as well as developing new dishes and dry ageing techniques. From his Japanese heritage to his culinary skillset, Chef Long has an amazing synergy with Chef Takuya to create the most unique Omakase experience for you.
