Guest Policy

All guests will be served at the same time, with service beginning at the reservation time. Any guests arriving after the doors close will not be seated.

We operate a reservation-only policy. VAT is included in the Omakase menu and a discretionary 15% service charge will be added to the final bill.

When entering the restaurant, please put your mobile on silent mode and out of respect for other guests, please refrain from taking calls in the restaurant. As our experience is extremely intimate, we kindly ask guests to refrain from talking or shouting loudly to avoid disturbing other guests and disrupting the nature of the service. Guests are requested to wear smart-casual attire. We cannot accept t-shirts, sportswear, shorts or sandals.

Please note that we have a no-video policy to preserve Chef's technique. Photos are allowed but we only ask that you are mindful of the other guests around you as we would like all diners to enjoy and fully immerse themselves in our omakase experience.

We welcome children who are able to enjoy our full course menu and are respectful to other guests. Children will be charged and given the same menu as their accompanying adult(s). Infants and smaller children unfortunately cannot be seated.

Please note that Taku is card payment only - we do not accept cash. We also do not allow any corkage.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations or changes will be subject to a £50 administration fee.

Reservation cancellations or changes made within 72 hours of the booking date may result in the full pre-payment being retained.

Due to the nature of the presentation of the Omakase menu, each guest must arrive when doors open (12:25 pm, 5:25 pm, 8:30 pm) and last entry will be within 20 minutes of the booking time. Otherwise we must cancel the reservation and retain the pre-payment.

Dietary Requirements

Please note that TAKU offers an Omakase menu consisting of raw and cooked fish, shellfish and gluten. Due to this we may not be able to accommodate your dietary requirements. By confirming your reservation with us, you agree that you have no allergies or dietary requirements for your upcoming booking or if you do, we have been made aware of them.
